About The Three Bears Method

Three Bears Method courses and website have been designed by a professional team consisting of Gracie O'Neil, and Jem Stanners.

Their purpose is to help you create your own promotional website.

Gracie has been writing professionally for over a decade. She is an active member and past Vice-President of Romance Writers of New Zealand.

Her short romantic fiction has been published in magazines in Australia and New Zealand, and her publication in full length single title is getting closer every day.

Gracie has had a lifelong obsession with books. After she trained as a teacher she began to indulge her passion for writing—while teaching others to become technical help desk operators! She has an interest in the psychology and process of marketing. Now she is a romance writer, a technical writer, and she teaches others to do the same.

You may visit Gracie's website here to follow her blog and her career, and to pick up some valuable tips and insights.

Jem is an electronics design engineer, who early in his career discovered the joy of computers, and ended up lecturing in industrial electronics and computers at a tertiary level for thirteen years. He was part of a "distance education" development team which proved to be too far ahead of its time, but you can benefit now, no matter what distance you are from Waihi.

Along the way, he has also been a field engineer, teaching customers how to use hardware and software products, and a marketing manager—which interest he continues to pursue. Jem currently writes web based computer applications professionally, and has been happily married to Gracie for over thirty years.

The Three Bears Method website is written in php and html, principally using the PhpEd integrated development environment. Some pages were made using Web Page Maker where pictorial layout was important. It is built on top of a mySQL database structure.

The teaching forums are based on phpBB bulletin board software which Jem has heavily modified to include membership and teaching facilities.
The videos use the Easy Video Player system, and the newsletters are managed by a much modified version of Infinite Responder.

At the time of writing, the ThreeBearsMethod.com website consists of 7,373 separate files working together to give what you see and experience. It is hosted with WebHostingNZ.com, whom we freely recommend.

In contrast, your starter website will have between 10 and 20 files, so how easy is that!

We would love to hear from you with suggestions of how to improve the Three Bears Method website and the courses we offer.
